Reiki Training

This is an opportunity to learn how to use the gentle Universal Life Energy, reducing stress and anxiety and rebalancing body and mind. Reiki flows to the areas of need, soothing pain and supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Once you have been attuned to Reiki you will have the ability to channel it for life.

Rev. Helen James is a qualified Usui Reiki Master/Teacher, endorsed by The Reiki Association. She combines both Eastern and Western styles of teaching, and she can trace both lineages back to the founder, Dr Mikao Usui. As an ordained Interfaith Minister, Helen creates a safe, sacred space for clients, and works from the heart with the purest intention, for the highest good. She also offers spiritual counselling either before or following a reiki treatment – booking is advisable.

For Helen, working with the ancient Japanese energy healing method of Reiki has been life changing. It enabled her to align with the Universe, harmonise, balance & re-kindle the Divine light within. Reiki heightened her intuition, replaced stress & anxiety with inner peace, & helped her return home to her true authentic self.

Helen trains students in Reiki 1 & 2 but believes it is important to be guided to the right teacher. If you are drawn to a particular Reiki Master, make sure you have a treatment with them. Trust your intuition.

Helen’s healing room nestles in the foothills of Bredon Hill in the Cotswolds, UK. Restorative time in her cottage garden or short walks around the village, help clients to ground in between teaching sessions.

First Degree “Shoden” Level Training (2 days): £225

The First Degree teaches you about the history of Reiki and you are taught the 5 Reiki Precepts, at the heart of Dr Usui’s healing method. You will receive a series of four attunements to the Reiki energy, which accelerate the flow of energy in the body. This enables you to begin to use your hands for healing. You will learn self-healing techniques, and you will learn the hand positions to offer Reiki to your family and animals (but not professionally). A comprehensive manual is provided along with a certificate upon successful completion of the course. You will also have my ongoing support.

Second Degree “Okuden” Level Training (2 days): £325

If you have completed the Reiki First Degree course, after a period of 3-6 months, you may want to consider advancing to the Okuden Level. This course attunes you to higher levels of awareness and energy. You will delve deep within yourself to reconnect to the natural energies of the Universe. You will learn to reconnect to the energies of the Earth and Heavens, through focusing on three symbols, mantras and by embracing the Reiki precepts. With practice you will learn how to bring these energies into unison within you, reminding you of your true connection to everything within the universe. This will enable you to live more intuitively, and to find your true connection with the universe, enabling you to send Reiki from a distance, known as Distance healing in the west. The attunements will intensify the healing effects from your hands. You will also gain confidence and learn how to use your intuition when giving treatments, and you will learn to deepen your own practice. A comprehensive manual is provided along with a certificate upon successful completion of the course. You will also continue to have my ongoing support.

Before certification you will be required to complete a case studies assignment (to be completed within 6 months) including evidence of your daily routines documented by a Reiki journal. A £50.00 deposit is required to secure your booking.
